Where are you originally from?
Brookings, SD

What do you like to do in your free time?
Social time with friends and family, preferably 75 degrees on a patio with a drink in my hand.

Why did you choose graphic design as a profession?
As long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be in the creative field. I love change and hate feeling boxed into a certain category. With design, the possibilities for growth are endless and constantly transforming.

Who is your biggest inspiration in the design community?
I follow fashion designers most religiously, such as Virgil Abloh. He showcases the wide range of design that can come out of being a creative human – music, clothes, furniture… you name it, he’s done it. 

What is your favorite Adobe program?
Illustrator, always. 

Where do you get your design inspiration?
Everywhere! Driving in my car, social media, other designers, etc. My attention span can be short…squirrel!! However, my brain is constantly working overtime on random thoughts for my next big idea.

Why are you excited to work at Caliber?
From the day I first stepped into Caliber to have a conversation with Brad and Casey, I wanted to be a part of this team. I instantly felt like I could be myself and my skills all across the board were going to be challenged and pushed to reach levels in my career I had yet to meet. I can’t wait to dig in with this team and get the creative juices flowing!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I have never eaten a Twinkie. (My go-to “never have I ever”)
