We are excited to introduce a new face to the crew, Joel Dirnberger! Joel is joining our team as a Graphic Designer and brings a fresh perspective with him. Learn more about Joel and why we’re thrilled to have him join the crew!

Where are you originally from?

I was born in Hawaii but grew up in Minnesota.

Why did you choose graphic design as a profession?

I think I’ve always wanted to be an artist since I was a kid.

What is your favorite Adobe program?

My favorite Adobe program is Illustrator by far.

Where do you get your design inspiration?

I get inspired by seeing new movies, sports graphics, and fellow artists on Instagram.

What is your coffee drink of choice?

Almost any kind of coffee-related drink. I like dark roasts too.

What playlist are you currently listening to?

Nothing in particular, but I listen to alternative, a couple of metalcore bands, EDM, jazz, and funk.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy playing computer, Xbox, and board games, as well as watching and playing hockey in the winter. I also create tape art with different colors of tape in my free time.

If you could have a superpower what would it be?

The ability to teleport… no more travel time.

Why are you excited to work at Caliber?

I’m excited to work at Caliber because I get to grow my design skills and collaborate with a great team of creatives.

You can only eat one food again for the rest of your life. What is it?

I would be fine with eating hard shell tacos from Taco Bell for the rest of my life.
