Plumbing and heating might not be the flashiest topic, but when longtime Caliber client PrairieSons approached us for their annual marketing needs, we saw an opportunity to develop an engaging campaign and infuse fresh energy and creativity into their messaging. The main message of the campaign was “Resist the DIY Urge,” and through eye-catching visuals and exciting headlines, we encouraged homeowners to avoid the temptation of DIY repairs and call the pros—PrairieSons.

Billboards showing a frantic homeowner standing in a flooded bathroom, public service announcement-style radio spots and informational, but fun, direct mail pieces all came together to bring this campaign to life. Through these efforts, we humorously warned consumers against the dangers of HVAC repairs, all while positioning PrairieSons as knowledgeable, helpful experts in the field.
